The CASPer

The CASPer is a situational judgment test (SJT) developed by researchers at McMaster University in Canada. It assesses non-cognitive skills and measures an individual’s personality traits, morals, and ethics, among other things.

  • In Canada, the fee to take the CASPer is $40, with another $12 to send to the schools you are applying to

  • The test is taken online

  • The test takes approximately 90-100 minutes to complete  

  • The CASPer can only be taken ONCE per admission cycle

STUDY TIP:  Practice typing speeds. How fast you type per minute can affect your score.
