Why did you choose to study at the U of M?

​

I chose U of M because I’m from Thompson and it was the closest to home by far and didn’t want to live too far from family. It’s also a great place to study and obtain a degree with some pretty cool professors

and opportunities.

What is your favourite place you've travelled to and why?

​

My favourite trip was when I went to Italy, there was so much interesting history, beautiful artwork and the food was amazing!

If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead. Who would it be?

​

Catherine the Great, I deeply admire her tenacity for overthrowing a Russian Tsar while she was a foreign empress. Her reforms changed Russian politics forever by restructuring education, technology, workers' rights and political power, it is just admirable for a woman of her time. A true example of empowerment, thriving against all odds and societal expectations.

What is your favourite sport and why?

​

My favourite sport at the moment is cycling because I love being outdoors and it lets me see the entire city in a different perspective. I also love stumbling upon bike paths that I have

not seen before.

What is your favourite sport and why?

​

My favourite sport to watch would be hockey. I’m a huge Jets fan! My favourite sport to play would either be soccer (I play intramural soccer here at U of M!), golf, or competitive dance! (I was a competitive dancer for 8 years!)

If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead. Who would it be? 

​

If I could have dinner with anyone, I’d choose Ratan Tata. He’s someone who combines business success with humility and a deep sense of social responsibility. I’d love to learn from his perspective on leadership, philanthropy,

and how to create a lasting impact
beyond just profits.

What is your favourite place you've travelled to and why? 

​

My favourite place that I have travelled to is Sicily as I am half Italian and I really enjoyed getting to see the beauty of where my grandparents were from.

What is your favourite book and why? 

​

My favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It inspires me to follow my dreams and find meaning in the journey, even when the path is uncertain.

What is your favourite sport and why? 

​

My favorite sport is badminton. I used to work as a badminton coach and have been competing provincially for four years now.

The community and friends I've made along the way are why it's my favorite sport.

If you could have dinner with anyone alive or dead. Who would it be?

​

it would be my grandma. I wish I had gotten to know her before Alzheimer’s, to hear her stories and wisdom firsthand.

What is your favourite place you've travelled to and why? 

​

My favorite place is Banff. Since the views are breathtaking, with its stunning mountains and lakes, and because it holds some of my core

childhood memories.

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

 

It would have to be my paediatrician, Dr. Ayson. He inspired me to become one like

him one day.

What is your favourite sport and why?

​

My favourite sport is basketball. It's a sport that I can play all year round and that I have been playing on teams since I was 10. Now I enjoy playing basketball with my friends in a more casual setting.

​

My favourite place I’ve travelled to was Porto, Portugal because of the stunning riverside architecture and charm.

​

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I grew up with Meg, Amy, Beth, and Jo and the 4 March sisters helped me become the woman I am today.

If I could have dinner with anyone, alive or dead, I’d choose Kobe Bryant. His dedication and

“Mamba Mentality” go far beyond basketball and

have inspired many, including myself.
